Janod – Time Wheel (FR)

What day is it? Why do I have to wear a sweater today? So many questions for little ones who have trouble finding their way around time and the seasons! A real calendar for children, this wheel of time is the ideal educational tool to help toddlers from 3 years old to better understand the passage of time. This wooden diary can be easily hung on the wall, to accompany children in their daily rituals. We start with the year: turn the small wheel on the right to display the right number. Practical, it is double-sided and allows the child to follow 10 years (5 years on each side)! It’s the turn of the seasons: thanks to the illustrated dial, children are guided by the illustrations and indicate the right month. Then, it’s time for the days of the week: move the cursor from top to bottom and from Monday to Sunday, then turn the sun to display the date of the day. So easy! Time for the weather: take a look out the window and place the needle on the corresponding drawing. Ideal for children learning to dress themselves! To go further, you can even tell the time on the back of an adorable ginger cat. The hands are 2 distinct colors to differentiate the hours from the minutes, practical when you start learning to tell the time! This wooden calendar nicely decorated with natural elements and small animals blends wonderfully into a child’s room. It reveals natural wood, FSC certified. Little bees and other butterflies accompany children in kindergarten who can reproduce the rituals in place at school. This wheel of time is also an educational toy for older children learning to read. It is available in French only.
