About Domo

Domo, or Domo-Kun, is the official mascot of Japans public broadcaster NHK. Created by Tsuneo Goda in 1998 and initially appearing in short sketches for the channel’s anniversary, the sweaty and gassy Domo has since taken on pop culture with television shows, manga and video games to become known worldwide!
